As a strong, established fraternity on campus, Lambda Chi Alpha is very excited to look to the future and see how we will grow and impact this campus and community. Lambda Chi Alpha prides itself on a unique and non-traditional approach to brotherhood.
In 1972, Lambda Chi alpha was the first fraternity to end the pledging program. The idea of “pledges” not having a full say in the fraternity until they were initiated didn’t seem right. Instead, Lambda Chi created an associate member program. An associate member has all of the same rights and priviledges as a fully initiated brother including voting rights. The only thing that is not disclosed to associate members is the initiation ceremony. Lambda Chi Alpha prides itself on this associate member program and its success, which allows the fraternity to form a close bond of brotherhood.
Lambda Chi Alpha’s goal is to turn great men into greater men by building each other up and strengthening our bond. The fraternity experience that Lambda Chi Alpha offers is different from any other.
